Founded in 2018, MHRCET was formed in response to the growing mental health crisis, rising healthcare costs, and lack of accessible direct support services. After more than five years of serving unserved communities, we identified a critical need to develop dedicated programs tailored to the unique challenges faced by system-involved youth who have long been marginalized by traditional systems of care.
We are driven by a bold vision: to create a world where every young person in underserved communities has the support, resources, and opportunities to succeed. We are a youth-centered organization committed to advancing health equity through compassionate care, community collaboration, and advocacy.
We specialize in providing accessible, culturally responsive behavioral health services, including those impacted by poverty, systemic inequities, and social isolation. Through a combination of direct services, we aim to break the barriers that prevent youth from receiving the care and support they need.
We partner with trusted community-based organizations to offer onsite services in safe environments, while also offering remote options that give youth and families the flexibility to connect from anywhere. Whether online or in person, our goal remains the same: to ensure every individual we serve has access to consistent, high-quality care.
Across our programs, we engage with a wide spectrum of communities, including youth involved in juvenile justice and reentry initiatives to those experiencing homelessness or navigating trauma, identity, and systemic oppression. As a youth-focused resource, we also empower caregivers through training and tools designed to foster more supportive, healing-centered environments.
At MHRCET, we are not just service providers but partners in healing, growth, and transformation. We envision a future where every young person is seen, supported, and equipped to overcome challenges and drive meaningful change while growing into leaders who make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.
